Connect Vero MCP to ChatGPT

Add the Vero MCP server to ChatGPT so you can manage broadcasts and journeys from a chat.

The Vero MCP server is in early access. Please provide feedback or issues via email.

Prerequisites

• A ChatGPT plan that supports custom MCP servers: Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise, or Education.
• A Vero account you can sign in to.

Connect Vero

The steps differ between the ChatGPT desktop app and chatgpt.com.

Web

On the web, custom MCP servers require Developer mode. Turn it on under Settings → Security and login. On a Business or Enterprise workspace, an admin must first allow Create custom MCP connectors under Workspace settings → Permissions & roles → Connected data.

1. On the home screen, open Plugins and click +.
2. Enter the server details:
   • Name: Vero
   • Description: Manage Vero broadcasts, journeys and topics.
   • MCP server URL: https://mcp.getvero.com/mcp
   • Authentication: OAuth
3. Click Create. ChatGPT opens Vero in your browser: sign in and approve the connection.
4. Click Refresh.

Desktop app

1. Open Settings → Plugins.
2. Click Add → Add MCP server.
3. Enter the server details:
   • Name: Vero
   • URL: https://mcp.getvero.com/mcp
   • Type: Streamable HTTP
4. Save the server.
5. Click Authenticate. ChatGPT opens Vero in your browser: sign in and approve the connection.

Vero is now available in ChatGPT Work and Codex, but not in Chat. Type /mcp in a conversation to confirm the server is available. ChatGPT asks you to confirm before running any tool that writes data.

Try it out

Ask ChatGPT things like:

• “List my scheduled broadcasts for this week”
• “What’s the status of my [journey name] journey?”
• “Draft a broadcast called ‘July Newsletter’ on the email channel”
